Our Client offers prime quality feed and hygiene products for the animal husbandry sector in Russia. They supply products for farmers in the dairy-, poultry- and swine sector as well as feed mills in several parts of the world. In addition they provide service regarding feeding rations for the animals and biosecurity systems for complete farms. The company based in The Netherlands started its whole sale activities on the Russian market in 2000. In Russia the team currently consists of three home based distributors, 1 home based in the North West Region near St. Petersburg, 2 home based in Moscow. In addition, the company has a Russian legal entity (no office yet) and storage facilities in Pskov. The HQ in The Netherlands acts as a linking pin between the operations in Russia and the producers of feed and hygiene products, based in The Netherlands, France, Germany and Sweden.

Job profile

The company is ready to expand its presence on the Russian market by offering a challenging Sales & Business Development role. The Sales & Business Development Manager Animal Husbandry, located home based in the North West region of Russia, will generate new sales in the dairy-, poultry and swine sector and act as a distributor in the assigned North West and West region. In this position you will achieve your sales goals by travelling extensively and performing farmvisits in the assigned region. The HQ in The Netherlands and the producing companies will provide you with training and technical product support.

Criteria

You are Russian with good foreign language skills, either German, French or English and a higher education in the field of Veterinairy or Feed sciences. The Sales & Business Development Manager Animal Husbandry posesses commercial consulting capabilities and has a real interest in the agricultural sector. You are well aware that this position requires actual farmvisits and extensive travelling. You are a self starting personality, capable to set your priorities and plan and organise your work effectively. You strongly believe in further modernisation of the Russian dairy-, poultry-, and swine sector and its huge potential for future growth. You prefer to work with innovative prime quality products and you value the long and strong history of European agricultural expertise and innovation. You like to work in a small company structure with short communication lines to the management, a variety of responsibilities and a real chance to build a business and make a difference.
